TRANSITION TO LEFT SIDE AND ONE HAND

This transition technique is the most used today because it is very simple to perform. However, there are some drawbacks, such as disabling the left hand (in the case of right-handers), having to shoot the handgun with one hand, or the difficulty of dragging a partner or climbing a ladder with the long gun hanging out of control.

On the other hand, compared to other techniques, it does not represent a great advantage in the speed of drawing.
