SHACKLE IN A NORMAL SITUATION
In shackling in a normal situation, when the detainee collaborates and does not offer resistance to his arrest, we must take extreme precautions, as he may be waiting for the right moment to hit us.
The first step is to hold the elbow of the detainee with one hand, while with the other we place the shackles from front to back. In this way, in the event that he tries to run away, it would facilitate control by putting on the shackle and having good control of the arm with the other hand.
Then we put the controlled hand behind the back and put the shackle on the other hand. The arrangement of the hands with the palms facing out is very important, as shown in the video.
Once the detainee has been shackled, we proceed to their driving, always under the control of one hand or arm. Without causing unnecessary damage but firmly.
